Welcome to Portland States University’s Chicano/Latino Scholarship Gala’s/ Concert Celebration new website. This website highlights the accomplishments of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in promoting higher education to economically disadvantaged Chicano/Latino youth.

This year is particularly note worthy as we celebrate our 12th annual Chicano/Latino Scholarship Gala. Since it’s commencement in 1997 the Chicano/Latino Scholarship Gala has grown by leaps and bounds and is proud to have raised over $ 200,000.00 dollars in scholarship awards.  It is this continual success that has made Portland State University’s Chicano/Latino Scholarship Gala one of the most highly anticipated events for the Latino community.
